Outreach

We actively engage in service and outreach, including public speaking engagements, and our work is regularly featured in the media (e.g., The New York Times, The Guardian, SPIEGEL, Süddeutsche, FAZ, MDR, NZZ and SRF). 

Our research, such as on social discounting, environmental valuation and the social costs of climate change has informed public policy guidance, among others, in Germany, the Netherlands, the European Union, the United Kingdom, and the United States. 

We also regularly try to co-design research with governmental institutions or societal actors, such as the German Environment Agency and the World Bank.
